  7. Amazon has a pre order for the album slated for December 2nd. Probably Atlantic's way of seeing how in demand the album is and once it's proven not to be.... Another push back.

    3. I think their stupid in the way they approach it then. They put out two singles, with barely any promotion, and they expect demand to come. The only reason Mission has better coverage is cause Lu did it independent through other outlets such as StandUp2Cancer and such.

God Lu was not lying, they really do treat him like a basement artist.

  9. The music industry is tough of your not "in-demand". If you don't own a liquor line, or if your song doesn't go well with a Sprite commercial and your name isn't Drake, Wayne Ye or Jay. Fabolous, Nas, Nipsey Hussle are just a few artists that go thru the same problems as Lupe with their labels and album promotion. It comes down to that 360 deal. It's inspiring that Lu doesn't take less money and the right to own his name and masters to his albums. Unfortunately, the price to pay is what's happening to his music being shelved. But, we are all our own worst enemy. Mr. Fiasco is no different. Drop a mixtape! Get your own Buzz. This is your 5th album. You shouldn't need a ton of help. The public know your name. The culture recognizes your skill. Now, make art.

    1. True. My real question is why didn't they drop CRACK as the first single? Shelving it for Old School Love, which ultimately isn't even on the album per quoted by Lupe himself. CRACK is a banger and even more so Breezy eating right now (Show Me, Love More, Main Chick, New Flame, Loyal) Lu would've been up in the mix for sure. Atlantic is either really asinine or those twisted devils are eagerly tryna break Lu.
