    2. I really like snitches as well, especially the one with ty dolla $ign. But I think this song will sound much better once the explicit version comes out, because the filters kinda ruin the song.

  2. I understand what he meant by ratchet but with a Lupe twist. It doesn't matter what you have, there's always someone that's better off and another that's worse off.

  5. This song reminds me of daydreamin second verse 'can we please get some more titties next to the 22s??" and the third verse of national anthem "attention is how you pair things"
this is kinda hot when u get into it

  6. I can fucks with this, just need to learn the lyrics. the beat sounds like a broken trumpet. i guess that's ratchet. get the stupid radio drops out of there and this thing will bang.

  7. Everything looks better with a bitch next to it

  8. I kinda like it right off the bat...but still dont see it being a radio hit.
I didnt like snitches at all at first but it grew on me and now i listen to it all the time. So hopefully this song just gets better and better.

  9. This shit is straight up FIRE!!!!!!! TY SEASON! ;)

  10. Production is so shit. The beat sounds like it was made on Garage Band and whoever wrote the hook is melodically illiterate. Why can't Soundtrakk produce everything? I'm sure the lyrics are great but is just sounds so fucking cheap.

    2. I actually very much agree

  11. Why is most of his production so bad as of late? Atlantic must give Lupe a tiny ass budget for his COS nowadays. This beat is so bad and the lyrics are trash. It's upsetting cause Lupe can make radio hits but this is a total miss.

    1. Production is good i just hate them unnecessary horns..dont blame atlantic, blame ty $ sign

  12. Chillllychill?? CHICAGO LU is a mastermind at this. Both verses are good, with the first being a bit "cooler." Still needs a 3rd verse, or even another. Beat is what it is. You already know Lupe goes in on weird beats. Do you even remember your reaction to hearing Gold Watch for the first time?

    1. Gold Watch WAS weird. But a dope weird. This is just... THEM HORNS MAN! Lol. I can't take it. I think about them horns more than the lyrics.

    1. Lol I'm not trying to be rude, but oh please, we will see how you feel when he drops Skulls.

    2. oh, he's gone? Peace of Paper, Jonlah Forever, Mission! But he's gone?

  14. Done with the heartbroken shit. Apparently y'all don't understand Lupe. Let the man be. He does what he wants. You don't like it. Don't listen.

    Anyways.

I was already prepared to not like this because of the radio rip. Love the "Next to it" flow...and the verses are funny yet so true. But I CANNOT get with these horns. It just makes me hate the song. I can't bang with it. Its too annoying.

So there..I'm not one of these heartbroken cats. Just saying man. Mission tops this by a whole lot production wise. Those horns man...

  15. Good song.

Not gonna lie though, those horns are janky as fuck LOL

Ty dolla, some out of tune horns isn't a good enough excuse for being "creative and out of the box". Lol

Surprisingly though, still works. Just bugs me but fuck it who cares haha. It's a smash in my eyes.

Also, I find it funny, those fans who are uber quick to jump on the let's criticize Lu's every move boat, are the same ones who flip flop on whether they think he's lost it or came back every time an album drops. It's sad, but entertaining.

  16. I was kinda worried about this one, but I just love it now. Cannot stop listening to it! Even the horns are adorable after 20 listens, trust me. Two awesome singles already; Tetsuo and Youth is gonna blow us all away!

  18. The horns don't bother me at all I luv em. Its crazy to me that the ppl who claim to be so diehard fans...shit on this ong bc I doesn't fit their "expectations" They always want this or that and are never satisfied. Lu has always been consistent with changing his approach to music. And if they'd shit up amd actually listen to the dayum song..they'll see he's dropping gems on it like he always does

  20. The beat is dope. The only people I seen complain about the horns and lupe saying "bitch" are ya'll lames. I knew there was a reason I stopped coming here.

  21. Lupe reminds me of Miles Davis. Every album is differemt, different tone, and different style. Everyone is quick to complain, but over time both are regarded as innovatears of new styles. Tetsuo and Youth is going to be another good Lupe album.
