  1. That's great Lupe, but maybe he just wasn't interested in working with you. The $50K thing came out of left field and didn't seem sincere. It looked more like a ploy to make Lupe the 'good guy' in the whole situation. We all know the same guy who just dissed you for not voting isn't going to invest his money into an organization that was your idea and makes you look good. C'mon son.

  2. Ego and pride override the need to help once again...shame

  3. Even if you think that lupe brought it up so he could "look like the good guy" it still would be 100K going to an organization that needs it. That being said it would be nice for him to donate that 50K anyways.

That would really make a statement.

  4. Lupe said either lets collaborate or leave me alone there's no prejudice in that.

  5. I want Lupe Fiasco to make more mainstream collaborations. I know he's a great rapper and you know he's a great rapper but until he gets on tracks with well-known artists and murders it will be hard to convince others and they won't give his music a chance. Just something I've noticed I mean Kendrick Lamar colabs with anyone but it gets his message out more effectively to a wider group of people. I like Lupe Fiasco more than Kendrick Lamar but Lupe Fiasco needs to find a way to get that buzz behind him again and alienating his fans and being preachy isn't the way. He was making very positive strides with his earlier music on Food & Liquor by putting out a message without it being too preachy but you still got the message.

  6. Honestly, his whole persona is annoying sometimes. He comes across preachy and condescending. Who cares if DL what's his face didn't want to make a deal with you bruh, just do your part and keep it moving.

  7. Oh I see, trying to provide a solution in the face of a problem is "preachy" and condescending now, wow! you guys teach me something new every day.

    1. Lupe isn't a puppet, unfortunately a few of his "fans" wish he was. They say he's changed, I don't feel as if he changed I think he got to a position in his career to where he could speak his mind and it wouldn't hinder him. Realistic if he was talking like this when he dropped his first album I doubt we'd even be seeing him this deep into his career. Lol

  10. i don't agree with everything lupe says but in this case
don't forget that he didn't say it voluntarily but because they asked him about it and we didn't hear the question

  11. So why can Nas be " Preachy" and still be loved by his fans but Lupe gets flak from his?
