  4. Trying to sound like James Baldwin.
Baldwin was from Harlem trying to sound like he was from the UK. Now one of his biggest fans is doing the same. SMH..

  5. I have heard James Baldwin, very good speaking. He probably admires James Baldwin's diction and speaking ability, so he probably adopted his ways of speech. Really I am sure Lu admires many great speakers, like Baldwin and Zinn. I remember he even made reference to a Rod Sterling monologue before too. I think it is wonderful that Lu has great communication skills and grammar.

  7. This actually played during some skateboarding thing on NBC last month. I was just flipping through the channels and did a double take when I saw an actual Ad for fnl2 on National tv during the weekend afternoon. Can't wait for the 25th

    1. It was some mountain dew sponsored skateboard competition near a beach. It was that exact clip because I remember lupe standing next to the wall talking about the album.

  9. You can have great grammatical skills and diction and not sound like this. Lu has always had very good grammatical skills without sounded like a fake UK country bloke. Shit is a joke.

  10. There's a scene at about 0:10 - 0:11 where it looks like New Orleans (where Lu was back in July). Is this an advertisement for the album or the documentary/film Lu's been working on to coincide with Food & Liquor 2.

  12. They removed the track from the itunes list shortly after we posted that it's back on it.

Also yes this is footage from the shoot Lupe did back in July. Album trailer, the clips where he breaks down songs.. all belongs together.
