In a recent interview with Nessa of WiLD 94.9 Lupe expanded on his recent tweets where he shared that he eventually gets a teacher gig soon. Besides that he talked about his Vans deal, DJing, music he listens to, FNL2, Lambo Angels, American Terrorist 2 and more.
Check another interview Lupe did with the station below:
In this interview Lupe says that the last album he's doing with Atlantic (the one after FNL2 part 1 and 2) is almost done and will eventually drop at the end of 2013.
LMAO @ all the ppl that thought 'American Terrorist 2' was 'Words I Never Said'.
ReplyDeleteAnd if u think about it Lupe is giving us a double disc album and one more after that: 3 albums. So it seems after the fuckery that was Lasers he is gonna give us an "Lupend"
Why would it be on Part 2? I thought Part 1 was the political album and Part 2 was the music.
ReplyDeletePart 2 is the continuation of both concepts. He also said that it would have more features, but otherwise same as part 1 half rap half america/political.
ReplyDeleteI was the one who said 'Words I Never Said' was AT2 because thats what lupe indeed said in one of his interviews...Plus it made sense
ReplyDeleteI cannot wait to hear the Lambo Angels song...it sounds like he will be going against religion in it. Crazy, intriguing, but always a reliable source, Lupe Fiasco.
I can see why you would think that about Words I Never Said".. But I disagree with your statement that he will be "going against religion", I feel as though he is pointing out truths about it.
DeleteExactly but to the people, just literally him speaking the truth about it will make it seem like he is against it...I hope you didnt think I meant he is suddenly against God or something, didnt mean that at all!
ReplyDeleteLets not forget, he did say in that piece on youtube with BunB, that he tries to take specific religion out of his music and talk about the universal concepts that all will agree on.
Yea i got you. That's a good point about the YouTube thing
DeleteFukin flash player
ReplyDeleteI think it's completely contradictory that nicki minaj would be on the remix of bitch bad when she and her entire act represent everything about being a bad bitch. It's so hypocritical that she would be on a remix to a song that is completely trying to negate what she puts out there and represents. I don't care what anyone says I'm not a nicki hater but COME ON ! She is in no way a positive influence to any young female. Period.
ReplyDeleteWhy are we talking about Nicki Minaj? Weird.. but anyways yeah this interview def cleared up some questions I was thinking about.
ReplyDeleteTGARA Pt2 shall be dope indeed! I wonder if he is going to remake ATIII's beat..
I hope not and Im feeling the release dates for the singles.. Not too long not to short just right ya know and if he stays consistent i wouldn't mind having part 2 dropped again on the 25th of Sept.
I mean that is my bday..
Lu couldn't possibly give me two bday gifts in a row can he??? hint hint Lu haha
^cus they mention nicki minaj in the interview ya bafoon. haha.
ReplyDeleteand lupe pls don't fvck up this album also.
Nicki Minaj is the worst bigtime artist of all time. Far worse than Soulja Boy.
ReplyDeleteHey, atleast Nicki can actually spit. Too bad she chose the mainstream path and SUPA DUMBED DOWN her lyrics...Soulja Boy gets no respect whatsoever lol
