  11. yea SOMEHOW america, the best air force and military defense, let three planes get hijacked, go off route, for hours and the hijackers then crashed them into nyc skyscrapers. Which was controlled by some dude in mountains. Those two buildings fell and then also building 7 fell for no reason. Magically the passports of the hijackers were found in the rubble. Hours after the incident we knew it was osama. Then we finally found osama, killed him, and threw him in the ocean. And ofcourse we dont need any evidence of his death. Oh and then the team that killed him, yeah seal team 6 their helicopter crashed and half of them died.

Oh and people who survived the twin towers and building 7 told their stories of what happened and yeah u should listen to them. And where are they now......gone..

    1. Nothing you said makes sense. Being the best military power doesn't mean you are invincible. The airplanes were not flying for hours. World trade got hit like 45 minutes after they went off the radio. How else would you expect the hijackers to get on the plane? Of course they had passports. Is it surprising that bin laden would take credit for this? No. Buddy you're an idiot. I pity you so much. You're prolly huddled in a closet or tucked under you're bed scared of the government and whatever other bullshit you wanna believe. At the end of the day, there are people in this world that are insane and are willing to kill innocent people to make a point. Maybe we should drop a few nukes on the middle east to make our point like they did. What's a few innocent lives to the benefit of sending a message?

  15. "Nigga wake up, don't join the army"- Lupe on Building Minds Faster. Clear dislike for the troops, people he doesn't know anything about. Trust me, I love Lupe. Always have even when he's said things without having proper knowledge of it. Take it from someone in the military, if lupe really knew the military, he would see how much he and the military actually agree on certain things. Nevertheless, looking forward to the new single. Time to shake up the beast.

    1. Lupe says that to mostly minorities, minorities the military has used and used again to fight unnecessary wars. Check out the Buffulo soldiers. He doesn't hate the military, but instead the people who run it.

  18. Everyone in the US doesn't have to be pro military. He said don't join the army, kill your own people and fear illuminati. Also he said a guy approached him and said Lu inspired him to join the military. Lu stated that was cool as it was his own choice. I'm in the service myself and I don't even agree with some things that go on. Like someone said you are just killing for the gonvernment. So that makes it right? So let's all stfu and enjoy the song :)

  22. The mindset of the typical american citizen does little more than incite my rage... So fucking stupid.

The US troops are generally societies rejects. You think they go into other countries and PROTECT you?? Fuck off... They commit crimes against humanity, rape and torture innocent individuals.

This is a fact. I don't blame you guys for not knowing though, its not as if the US media reports this shit.

Fun fact, the homeless and indignant of the US are made of almost 60% ex war "veterans"

There is no future for soldiers. And statistically, people who join the army have no outlook on life. They are stupid.

  23. "Couldn't see, had the hood on me like Abu Ghraib"

Yup, he seems to have an inherent distrust of the millitary. Justifiably,so perhaps. Either way, he is entitled to his opinion.

    ReplyDelete
  24. You can't say that the Abu Ghraib line doesn't support his feelings towards the military especially when you research Abu Ghraib and the things that went on. It's definitely an educated opinion.

    ReplyDelete
  25. People with those beliefs are terrible. Our soldiers are risking their lives for you. YOU. And your slamming them as societies rejects. I'm in the army. The soldiers are not the problem here, its the leaders.

Our soldiers are, hands down, the greatest people I have ever been graced with meeting throughout my life. They spend every day protecting our freedom. They believe they are fighting for freedom. Whether they are or not is questionable, due to the leaders in charge, but the soldiers go through each and every day willing to die to allow you to live every day as peaceful and comfortable as possible.

Of course there are those random outliers. The soldiers who lose their minds being stationed thousands of miles away from their closest friends and family and make bad decisions. What about the people in Occupy Wall Street who have been busting out windows of stores, stealing, fighting, and raping others in their very own camps? Whats their excuse?

I'm a HUGE Lupe fan and supporter of Occupy Wall Street, all I'm saying is if you have a problem with the wars, question our countries leaders, NEVER disrespect our soldiers.

  29. Just vote for Ron Paul & end the discussion

    ReplyDelete
  30. My god there are so many ignorant arguments going on right now. So we should disrespect those who join the military because they want to protect and serve the country we all live in? They don't do it for the glamour. They join because they love this country. The "rejects" are a slim margin of who joins the military.

If you don't like this country, the people, or what it stands for, then leave. This is America; no one's forcing you to stay.

I'll remind you though that we are able to have these discussions, and Lupe can as well, because of this country and what it stands for.

  33. i'm so tired of the argument of "if you don't like it here leave". it's the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. as howard zinn said "dissidence is the highest form of patriotism." the people who are unhappy with the status quo and take action are the ones that have made some of the greatest impact in the world. what if Martin Luther King Jr. just left because he was unhappy, what if Malcolm X left, what if Rizal abandoned the Phillipines, what if Ghandi abandoned India? if everyone who was unhappy with the status quo simply left their situation for a better one, there would be no progress

  34. Its easy to shout words. And to point fingers. Our leaders are the ones calling the shots, but they're idiots. Don't hold someone who's trying to put food on their families table responsible for poor leader's decisions. And now with all the mess, someone's gotta contain it before it gets worse. Unless you know the internal workings, its not easy to understand and relate to. But that's the price of giving up our freedom so you can enjoy yours.

  42. To the guy that stated all those historical figures in the context of "don't like it then leave" . . . you, my friend, are a very smart person. Calling out corruption in a government/country doesn't mean you hate it . . . it's just calling out the bullshit. Calling a spade a spade. Whatever silly saying you want.

Oh, and I'm pretty sure Lupe makes this kinda music TO provoke these discussions. To get the mind thinking outside the box. So, by "removing the comments" you'd only be doing disservice to the man himself. I didn't see anything out of line; I just saw a myriad of opinions, some with exclamation points, some without. If that's too heavy for your mind then why, if I may ask, do you like Lupe's music?

  46. I take back my comment on leaving this country because you guys are right. The point I was trying to make was that if you're dissapointed in something in your life, you have the ability to change it. I do love this country and I know I take things for granted a lot, but I try to appreciate everyday. Yet some people don't try to change or do anything, just complain, complain, complain. Lupe doesn't just rap about problems, he tries to change things. His music inspires us to think about the things that we don't really think about, whether it be the ghetto or politics or whatever's on his mind. Thinking about these problems inspires questions, which lead to solutions. Leaving the country is just a phrase I used to say if you don't like what is, you should know you have the ability to do something about it. LASERS

It's also a chance to learn something, anything just by reading the comments. You guys always put new ideas in my head or give me something new to research. I feel that's what makes each and every one of us leaders...the thrive to debate!!! No man can successfully lead with just his opinions alone!

  53. Why are ya'll so stupid and argumentative really? Song hasn't even dropped and ya'll are complaining over God knows what. The tone was set for the album the minute Lupe named it "The Great AMERICAN Rap Album" and then again when he spit the F&LII Intro about the Illuminati.

Why are you idiots talking out of your necks and asses!?

Lupe didn't diss the US Army in BMF. He used army as a general term for the masses that don't believe in the Illuminati. Dumbasses.

Ya'll need this album, maybe you'll learn something.

Lupe Fiasco – American Terrorist III Lyrics

    [Verse 1 - Lupe Fiasco]
    Hello Gorgeous
The phone call’s probably being recorded
Just know that I did it for the four of us
And those mutherfuckers kept ignorin’ us
    After this I’m going underground
If they come asking give them the run-around
How does Costa Rica in the summer sound?
Couple days then we moving to another town
Yea I know them dreams, seems
Just know that time’ll never come between
    Space either, fake features
Things that we reject but connects all us believers
    The insurrection’s gone viral
    They’ll never stop it now
    I hope it all spirals
Outta control, like a dam with a hole
From here on out it’s all about survival
The way we left things they probably think we rivals
But don’t be naive, they hate you more than I do
Remember always speak in opposites, I hate you so much, it’s such a compliment
I know that defies the common sense, but we ain’t never been right: honestness
We never fit in school, and never did rules, but who’d a thought we’d turn out bombing shit

    [Hook]
I’m giving you a nightcall to tell you how I feel
I want to drive you through the night down the hills
I’m gonna tell you something don’t want to hear
I’m gonna show you where it’s dark but have no fear

    [Verse 2 - Lupe Fiasco]
He said he was just so tired, of them fighting our water with fire
He said that we need something drier, to really impress the empire
Funny cause he really hated war, but why we went to war is what he really hated more
Said it’s silly how that our schools make us stupid and our jobs make us poor
When he came back from the Corps, is when he really got serious
Read a lot of books, started acting all mysterious
The VA is what really made him furious, told him his condition didn’t exist, period
That’s why he started that petition, went all the way to Washington, said they didn’t listen to a white male Christian
He just laughed when they took our father’s pension
He said that you gotta act in opposites, helps you hide your tracks when you stand up to the dominant
But I knew he felt bad, told me later was the saddest day he ever had
To see our dad so hopeless, that was the turning point that’s what really gave him focus
I didn’t agree with everything, some of it made sense
But never thought that he would do something like this

    [Hook]

    [Verse 3 - Lupe Fiasco]
I know you don’t watch but your brother was on TV
Couple guys in black suits came around to see me
They went through all your book’s and took all of your CDs
My granny said you’d be all right, she saw it in the tea leaves
All the operations going well, had a lotta contact from all the other cells
Everybody, everywhere is calling you a hero
They going through the rubble, but the body count is zero
It’s all violent and bloodless, I know the government really loves this
This account is hacked, you know how to keep in touch
I’ll never see you again, I hate you so much

  58. People commenting above saying 'oh no, he's making another song hating america'. oh, so now it's unfair to criticize a genocidal, rogue state that kills more innocent people than any other nation on earth.

AND please stop with 'the brave young men and women that risk their lives to protect our freedoms'. US troops are abroad to protect the investments of rich white men, so the US can continue to exploit yet another country under the facade of a 'war on terror' or 'spreading democracy' LOOL

'I should say that when people talk about capitalism it's a bit of a joke. There's no such thing. No country, no business class, has ever been willing to subject itself to the free market, free market discipline. Free markets are for others. Like, the Third World is the Third World because they had free markets rammed down their throat. Meanwhile, the enlightened states, England, the United States, others, resorted to massive state intervention to protect private power, and still do. That's right up to the present. I mean, the Reagan administration for example was the most protectionist in post-war American history. Virtually the entire dynamic economy in the United States is based crucially on state initiative and intervention: computers, the internet, telecommunication, automation, pharmaceutical, you just name it. Run through it, and you find massive ripoffs of the public, meaning, a system in which under one guise or another the public pays the costs and takes the risks, and profit is privatized. That's very remote from a free market.' - Noam chomsky

Gays want to be in the military. Here's how I feel about it, alright? Anyone - DUMB ENOUGH - to want to be in the military should be allowed in. End of fuckin' story. That should be the only requirement. I don't care how many push-ups you can do, put on a helmet, go wait in that fox-hole, we'll tell you when we need you to kill somebody. Y'know what I mean? I'm so sick... I've watched these fuckin' congressional hearings, and all these military guys, and all the pundits, seriously "Oh, the esprit-de-corps will be affected, and we are such a moral..." Excuse me? Aren't y'all fuckin' hired killers? Shut up! You are thugs, and when we need you to go blow the fuck out of a nation of little brown people, we'll let you know. Until then. Where did the fucking military get all these moral... "We are the military... Is that a village of children and kids? Where the napalm? I don't want any gay people hanging around me when I'm killing kids. I just don't wanna see it" - Bill Hicks

LOL the ignorance of some of you people is astounding to say the least.

People who say ' if you don't like the US then leave' are morons. POINT BLANK PERIOD. They are incapable of coming up with arguments using rationale and logic to defend their views (which are usually close minded, xenophobic and bigoted). You know, that might actually require some actual THINKING and I guess it makes you a bad american if you like to THINK. There are usually very little facts and truths to defend the heinous crimes of the US, only half truths and rhetoric, which really fucks up the ability to form an argument. It's much easier to blabber on about 'we're spreading democracy' or 'our soldiers are fighting for our freedom'.

Which if you look through history isnt the case. So I would say even though the soldiers arent wholly to blame, they still share some of the responsibility.

"This country was founded by a group of slave owners who wanted to be. Am I right? A group of slave owners who wanted to be free! So they killed a lot of white English people in order to continue owning their black African people, so they could wipe out the rest of the red Indian people, in order to move west and steal the rest of the land from the brown Mexican people, giving them a place to take off and drop their nuclear weapons on the yellow Japanese people. You know what the motto for this country ought to be? 'You give us a color, we'll wipe it out.'"

"I have solved this political dilemma in a very direct way: I don't vote. On Election Day, I stay home. I firmly believe that if you vote, you have no right to complain. Now, some people like to twist that around. They say, 'If you don't vote, you have no right to complain,' but where's the logic in that? If you vote, and you elect dishonest, incompetent politicians, and they get into office and screw everything up, you are responsible for what they have done. You voted them in. You caused the problem. You have no right to complain. I, on the other hand, who did not vote -- who did not even leave the house on Election Day -- am in no way responsible for that these politicians have done and have every right to complain about the mess that you created."

  67. 'But all that aside, let me tell you what I liked about that Gulf War: it was the first war that appeared on every television channel, including cable.

And even though the TV show consisted largely of Pentagon war criminals displaying maps and charts, it got very good ratings. And that makes sense, because we like war. We're a warlike people. We can't stand not to be fucking with someone. We couldn't wait for the Cold War to end so we could climb into the big Arab sandbox and play with our nice new toys. We enjoy war.

And one reason we enjoy it is that we're good at it. You know why we're good at it? Because we get alot of practice. This country is only 200 years old, and already we've had ten major wars. We average a major war every twenty years, So we're good at it!

And it's just as well we are, because we're not very good at anything else. Can't build a decent car anymore. Can't make a TV set, a cell phone, or a VCR. Got no steel industry left. No textiles. Can't educate our young people. Can't get health care to our old people. But we can bomb the shit outta your country, all right. We can bomb the shit outta your country!

If You're Brown, You're Goin Down

Especially if your country is full of brown people. Oh, we like that, don't we? That's our hobby now. But it's also our new job in the world: bombing brown people. Iraq, Panama, Grenada, Libya. You got some brown people in your country? Tell 'em to watch the fuck out, or we'll goddamn bomb them!

Well, who were the last white people you can remember that we bombed? In fact, can you remember any white people we ever bombed? The Germans! That's it! Those are the only ones. And that was only because they were tryin' to cut in on our action. They wanted to dominate the world.

Bullshit! That's our job. That's our fuckin' job.

But the Germans are ancient history. These days, we only bomb brown people. And not because they're cutting in our action; we do it because they're brown. Even those Serbs we bombed in Yugoslavia aren't really white, are they? Naaah! They're sort of down near the swarthy end of the white spectrum. Just brown enough to bomb. I'm still waiting for the day we bomb the English. People who really deserve it.'

You see, I've got this real moron thing I do, it's called 'Thinking' And I guess I'm not a very good American, because I like to form my own opinions; I don't just roll over when I'm told. Most Americans roll over on command. Not me, There are certain rules I observe.

My first rule: Never believe anyone in authority says. None of them. Government, Police, clergy, the corporate criminals. None of them. And neither do I believe anything I'm told by the media, who, in the case of the Gulf War, functioned as little more than unpaid employees of the Defense Department, and who, most of the time, operate as unofficial public relations agency for the government and industry.
I don't believe in any of them. And I have to tell you, folks, I don't really believe very much in my country either. I don't get all choked up about yellow ribbons and American flags. I see them as symbols, and I leave them to the symbol-minded. '

Actually, when you think about it, this country has had a manhood problem for some time. You can tell the language we use; language always gives us away. What did we do wrong in Vietnam? We 'pulled out'! Not a very manly thing to do. No. When you're fucking people, you're supposed to stay with it and fuck them good; fuck them to death; hang in there and keep fucking them until they're all fucking dead.

But in Vietnam what happened was by accident we left a few women and children alive, and we haven't felt good about ourselves since. '

  70. The person posting all these George Carlin quotes is just as closed minded and ignorant as the people that think America is currently fighting for freedom.
