New Music: SNDCLSH (DJ Lupe Fiasco + DJ Sky Gellatly) x DJ Kue - "Letting Go Remix"

The SNDCLSH, the collaborative music duo of DJ Lupe Fiasco and DJ Sky Gellatly, have dropped their first official track, the collaborative remix of “Letting Go” with the DJ and producer wonder DJ Kue. The song is a glimpse into the SNDCLSH debut EP, “Don’t Drop The Flag”, an all electronic music album.

And in keeping with the philanthropic spirit of Lupe and Sky, they have pledged to donate ALL of the proceeds from their upcoming EP to kids in need. Yes, every single dollar. Be on the lookout for more SNDCLSH tracks in the coming weeks, and for an early 2012 album drop from the SNDCLSH.

  2. im all for rap artists branching out into different genres, but this is garbage. electro/dance is all garbage. letting go is such a powerful song, this electro beat just cheapens it. too bad. smh at this. what happened to japanese cartoon? anyone with a laptop can make a simple dance remix...

  3. It's a known fact that anyone who says electronic or dance is all garbage

    a) can't dance and therefore can't appreciate it
    b) is that annoying elitist in their circle who thinks they're cool
    c) salty

  4. I just heard it I'm surprised I thought it was gonna be worse, its actually not that bad. But I also feel like it doesnt really flow right, like as if someone is just playing 2 diff songs @ the same time.....

  5. I'm sure this is going to create a lot of hate from the people who can't stand "non-hip-hop" beats. I kinda enjoyed it and look forward to hearing the rest of the EP.

  6. I think it's amazing, I wish it was longer. You're all very narrow minded here, this is great music. Just to add, I'm a huge fan of everything back to F&L.

  7. Easy to listen to. That's about all I could ask for.
Dance/Electronica music is not garbage >_> Just because you may not like it doesn't make it so. Sorry. Nobody but yourself lives in your fantasy world.
I can listen to Joey Budden one moment then flip over to some Pendulum or Faunts the next. My taste in music varies greatly and I just dunno how somebody can ONLY listen to rap, or ONLY rock, or only . . . etc. Just seems a narrow minded. But you like what you like.

  8. I actually dont hate lupes electro dance direction or whathave you
but i can easily say as a fan of that genre that this track is mediocre at best
just like someone else said, the flow is really crap cuz its almost like lupe said dont touch the lyrics just mess with the beat and thats just silly
the drops were good tho and it coulda been better if there was more freedom with the words
especially the chorus which just doesnt work here lol

  13. As long as the tracks on this EP are more creative, I'll be into it. It'll be a nice little appetizer before we all rip into Food & Liquor 2 ;)
