Prodigy agrees with Lupe Fiasco regarding Obama/Politics

Last week, rapper Lupe Fiasco told CBS News that he finds President Barack Obama to be "the biggest terrorist." The comment came as a shock to many. However, in an exclusive interview with HipHopDX, Prodigy of Mobb Deep says he shares Lupe's sentiments.

"I would have to agree with him," Prodigy states in the upcoming interview. "Most of these politicians and these government officials…most of them are the real terrorists."

In the past, Prodigy has been known for inserting several references to the government and conspiracy theories in his rhymes. He explains to DX that during his time incarcerated, he kept up with politics and the ongoings of Obama's presidency.

"Yeah, I was definitely checking [Obama] out and seeing what he was doing and what he was about," the veteran rapper states. "But I already knew ahead of time – I’ve been studying all that type of stuff since like 15,16 years old, so… You can’t pull the wool over my eyes. I already know what time it is."

He goes on to say that Politics is misleading. "There’s nothing you can say to confuse me about any of that type of stuff. I know it’s all a game that they’re playing. It’s all a facade," he says.

  13. Pls don't compare Malcolm X with prodigy.

Even though I agree with what lupe said to an extent, let's have some perspective on this before throwing out comparisons of that nature.

And folks do your own research on things don't wait for "celebs" to tell you about issues that affect us even more than them.

P.S. No need to throw insults at one and other for having differing opinions, being hostile won't make someone else listen to your point of view more urgently.

We are all better than that folks..

  14. I just said I believe he read up on it... I only believe what I believe and could care less if a celebrity agreed with me or not.... but to discredit someone of intelligence because they went to prison is ignorant.

I didn't post the malcolm x comment but he was a hustler and pimp before he went to prison where he studied and converted and what not.
