  3. I think I did hear before that Lupe and Soulja were going to do a song before, couldn't see him actually rapping maybe producing something.

  4. Wanna waste 13 minutes of your life?

Then sit and watch this Soulja Boy interview....he ain't talkin about nothin'...as usual.

  5. ^^ that's why I said you should start watching at 4:30...so you wouldn't need to hear any of the other stuff he says...lol!

  6. Soulja might be talking about the time that Lupe referred to him as "hip hop's retarded cousin". But I had my suspicions from the start that the soulja quote was taken out of context.

  7. Soulja boy is a lot smarter than people think.

  8. That's exactly why he was failing out of his high school classes...

  9. I would think it takes a lot more smarts to do what. Soulja boy has done, than to pass classes. Nas dropped out high school, but people swears he's the smartest rapper with all the dumb descisions he makes. I guess how smart your music is hold precedence of actual smarts.lol

  10. No the problem wasnt that he was failing out of high school, but the fact that he was glorifying the fact that he was failing out of high school.

  11. That reflects more on the teachers and the curriculum. Teachers aren't engaged enough and school curriculum is dull and outdated, especially down south. He was negligent saying the that though. But he answered all those question in an impressive fashion.

  12. hmmm I may just be skeptical, but it doesnt really sound like the qoute was taken out of context. I mean if he's going sit there and say that any of his song are the least bit lyrical... i think that say enough about him already

  13. I would have hoped that he could put at least 5 words in a cohesive sentence to carry on a conversation/interview, seeing as HE IS 20 YEARS OLD.

  14. "he [Lupe] said something slick...i aint never said anything about it" sounds like someone wants to beef but knows better lol

  15. Bottom line is Soulja made an ignorant comment (not a diss). Lupe got inspired. Hip hop wins.

  16. Ah, so much Soulja Boy hate.

Lupe did say he wanted to do a track with Soulja at one time though. (I believe it is a past entry in this blog to.)

The hate is not necessary though, the magazine obviously blew it out of proportion.

SB said it perfectly, Lupe has his own audience and so does SB.

As for the comment about the school curriculum down south being bad that is very untrue, schools are bad, everywhere, mainly in Washington D.C. ironically though.

And Nas might make great songs, but far too many people look up to him as a genius. Just because you look smart, use a big vocabulary, and do clever lyrics doesn't make you smart. He says radically extreme things that make no sense without thinking all the time. I could name many reasons, and one of them is that dumbass letter he wrote to Def Jam.

  17. He did graduate high school. Soulja Boy does make lyrical songs sometimes, and they're not bad, some of them are pretty witty.

And even if you think he is glorifying ignorance, then don't buy his stuff. If he makes an ignorant record, it sells a lot, and influences some kid to be stupid. Then it just shows how bad parents are.

  18. TheOriginalName deserves an applause.

I didnt know making a radio hit these days could circulate so much hate...

  19. Soulja boy messed up when he said he could be Lupe Lyrical. He can't. Soulja was better of just saying he chose not to be lyrical and left Lupe out of it.

  20. that lady next to him rubs me the wrong way. hate her

  21. @Original name i agree for the most part but we all have to hold ourselves accountable not just parents. It's the only way things will get better.
