  4. he said it was gunna be on lasers, thus atlantic kidd

  5. not bad, Lupe said he wanted to make Lasers songs more accessible but not dumb'd down.

Definitely can see State Run Radio, Stereo Sun, and This track as radio hits.

  6. Sounds like "Lupe just sold his soul music"

    ReplyDelete
  7. Oh god. I knew some dumbass would come in here saying he sold out

  8. Wish we could vote between state run radio, stereo sun, and scream!!

  9. sounds kinda like kid cudi shit

  10. The beat reminds me of Kid cudi's Make her say track.

  11. This sounds like a Cudi joint. I LOVE Cudi so I don't mind.

  12. This sounds like a Lupe joint... I LOVE lupe so I don't mind...

damn this might be one of the best lupe song since F&L...

  13. didnt lupe say the songs that he played on the stepping lasers tour werent singles??

    ReplyDelete
  14. all hes missing is kid cudi...

but yeah, doesnt sound like a "single" if u ask me..

    ReplyDelete
  15. I hope the first single is a bit more upbeat

    ReplyDelete
  16. Lu my nigga. But if this is a single off LAsers i will be very disappointed...Ppl are saying lu's falling off, but i don
t wanna belive it...but at the same time he hasn't gave me a reason to thk otherwise.

  17. ^^^Guy obviously hasn't heard "Don't Stop!"

  18. haha i agree with the past 10 comments. he definatly sounds like cudi. thats exactly what i thought

    ReplyDelete
  19. i find he sounds like cudi too... in a good way though sounds like a nice laid back chillin song i likeee !!

  20. thats shit dont sound like cudi, cudi does songs about being depressed. "Up Up and Away" is Cudi's only song that sounds similar to this. Anyways i really hope this isnt the single, sounds wack to me. I wanna hear something w/ high energy but a heavier beat. Something like Army Girl

  21. Niggas is stupid...Fallin off? Wack? WTF GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE!

  22. I'm a huge Lupe Fan. Like...a MEGA FAN. And I think that this is a good song, but it is NOT a Lupe song. It sounds like some manufactured poppy Atlantic bullshit. I don't like Lupe on this track and I don't think it will be a hit. Lupe's new style is a little more dark and rock oriented than what this is. This sounds, to me like a song that Atlantic sent to Lupe so he can redo the hook 60 times.

  23. He said it himself Lasers is a new type of album.

    ReplyDelete
  24. This is lupe spittin over a dope beat. the hook isn't the current most famous female singer/canadian and he isn't rapping bullshit.

go killyaself if you think this is anything but a dope as fuck lupe song

  25. Lupe yous to be the realest nigga to me...but now that title goes to Vinnie Paz....Enemy SOil bitches...

  27. How can you ever say "Lupe doesn't sound like Lupe!" Or "He sounds like Cudi!" . . . Lupe's Lupe. The Cool was one of the most versatile albums I've ever heard. You go from super-fast and up-tempo Go Go Gadget and Go Baby to deep and dark Coolest and Put You On Game. All this b.s. with Atlantic is just corrupting your minds, people. This is Lupe . . . he spent almost two years battling the record company and now you think he'd be out there dancing and having fun because he gave up? Please.

Just sit on back and enjoy the show then lean on forward and enjoy it some more then lean back and enjoy it like you were enjoying before . . . yup. And stfu.

  28. This definitely doesn't sound like kid Cudi. The only similarities is the high level of emotion of the content. Anyway as far as this being a single I think it's perfect; well for lupe. If he released a club song his die hard fans would call him a sellout, but I can tell off those few bars A LOT of people will be able to relate to it, and it's rather catchy. W/ this single and mild touring 300k first week. 2 singles plus friend of the people and all the Copland Lu's been doing Lu can do 400+ first week

  29. The hook is really dope..Something I really relate to.

    ReplyDelete
  30. everybody knows Lupe is a versatile artist, but when has he ever done some poppy shit like this. Sounds like a Justin Bieber beat. the people want something like Stereo Sun, Army Girl, State Run Radio; not some something that sounds manufactured to sell to the masses. but imma give it chance when the actually song comes out then give it my final judgement

    ReplyDelete
  31. What's wrong with poppy beats? As long as the song has a great message im good.

    ReplyDelete
  32. SERIOUSLY I FEEL LIKE 50% OF THE PEOPLE COMMENTING ON THIS SITE HEARD THEIR FIRST LUPE SONG YESTERDAY...

this is lupe... Stop comparing artists.. Please.. lupe is doing lupe and nothing else..
a snippet of 8ish bars with nothing but boxing references really makes me hyped up to hear some material similar to pre-F&L stuff.. like lyrically as dope as mean & vicious.. Like I stated above I feel like this has the potential to be one of the best lupe songs to this date.. If the rest of the song is as good..

and since when was lupe not on poppy beats??? lmao
and since when did "singles" have to sound like "singles" that's some stupidity to me.. good music is good music.. It doesn't have to sound a certain way...

    ReplyDelete
  33. This is definately going to be a hit! Hear the lyrics? still the Lupe we love! I Feel Like this came from HIM not atlantic.. But I guess its my stupid opinion.. But there is time for change and this song is definatley a HIT!

    ReplyDelete
  34. Lmao, people arent even listening to the lyrics.

    "I'ma do me."

    ReplyDelete
  35. Im a Lupe fan & I like the song but
    everyone has their own preference,

I swear most the stans on here be
get'n all butt hurt if someone doesn't
    like a Lupe track

& If someone don't like a song how are they a hater?

    Logic all fucked up

    ReplyDelete
  36. hahaha.. Well me for one was listening to the lyrics cause they are clear...

    ReplyDelete
  37. I don't get this hatin. A mainstream tune with a positive message...That should be the way foward, atleast for other artists to follow. Lupe is doin lupe

    ReplyDelete
  38. Stereo sun!!!!
    why not lu?????
That song could interlinked the continnts back together!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  39. T.I did "whatever you like"

i think thats def an atlantic beat/hook

    ReplyDelete
  40. Word...hes on that food&liquor flow though

    ReplyDelete
  41. ^^Amen, this album is gonna be a mix of F&L and The Cool, I can't wait!

    ReplyDelete
  42. Alright guys stop hatin this is one of lupe's best songs of all time and it only like 50 seconds whether its the single or not it is still lupe song and that is what we all want.

u have to admit mainstream beats are starting to become more happy beats and this mainstream beat is perfect for the message that lupe is trying to put out. which is go do wat u want to do, dont let anybody control that this beat is perfect for that!!!!!!
