Lupe was up for 3 nominations at this years MTV EMA's
but he didn't make it to the finals. If someone would just base those awards on content and not on popularity, Lupe would have been nominated in those 3 categories and he would have deserved to get at least 2 of those awards.
I really think that there have to be more Lupe performances and TV shows that feature him all over Europe. If that would happen and if there would be more promo overseas, I'm sure he'd be able to gain more fans and after that he'd also get nominated and would be able to perform at award shows like this one...
I just want to see him on TV more often and I want to finally be able to go to one of his shows.
I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels this way.

yall needa see reality, these shows are based mostly of popularity and success. Which both Lupe has small amount of, its growing but he still isnt the hottest which is why things like this happen. Wait for the Grammy's that is a show that is based strictly off of talent and content and creativity, which are things Lupe has a mass amount of.

The last thing the Grammies wants to do is piss off fans. They're already a BS award, so why hurt themselves more? Go by the charts and done.
There are almost no true awards anymore. Something like the Golden Raspberry is at least honest, but even that targets mains stream BS.
At the end of the day, Rick Astley isn't even nominated and I know for a fact that a shit load of people where running automated voting scripts to get him onto that list... MTV is more than likely cheating (as they are already known to do)
straight up FUCK MTV! It is a big popularity contest. . Fuckin Britney Spears won like 4 awards at this year's VMA's. . .& that she aint do SHIT, But just show up! Lupe deserves A LOT more credit the he is given. . Only true Fans know the value of his work. .
